Diets always always start on a Monday, and so far since lockdown started there have been 13 Mondays, but today the 15th June is where I start. The mere concept of a diet is tough, giving up the pleasures of chocolate, nachos and gin (although after research gin is low in calories).
After pondering whether its acceptable to wear leggings for the rest of 2020 and blame the pandemic, I realise I would be back in office at some point in the future, and I knew that my work trousers wouldn’t go round my thighs let alone waist and thats when I decided enough is enough.
So here I am monday 15th June, fitbit fully charged, healthy food shop ordered, and my water bottle that tells me the times I need to drink a certain amount by filled.
So who am I?
- First off I am a typical 29 (oh so nearly 30) year old – I’ve done every diet from herbalife to keto, I become a gym bunny and realised it wasn’t sustainable for me.
- I have the ultimate double whammy of suffering with polycystic ovaries and an underactive thyroid (which I am treated for) these conditions make it tough but not impossible to lose weight.
- I will be blogging my diet with calories and the exercises I do- so hopefully you might get some meal inspiration
- I will NOT be weighing, this is about how I feel in clothes…
So if you want to follow a weight loss journey with slightly dark sense of humour, total honesty about the bad days and some nutritional info give me a follow .
